Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and transfer to Gangtok (114kms/4.5hrs). At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim, a beautiful and clean town promising the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

Excursion to Baba Mandir & Tsomgo Lake

Excursion to Baba Mandir & Tsomgo Lake
After breakfast, start for a half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), 32kms from Gangtok City. The lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape, and 15 meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people; further 12Kms visit the Baba Mandir dedicated to the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity.

In the morning, we will drive to Lachen (9,400 ft, 118 km). On the way, we will visit the Seven Sister Waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check-in at the hotel in the late afternoon. An overnight stay at the hotel in Lachen.

Today morning, we will drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,000ft). Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. The altitude here is may cause breathing problem so be careful. Later return back to the hotel and leave for Lachung. Enjoy an overnight stay at Lachung.

Lachung - Yumthang Valley Excursion & Transfer to Gangtok

Lachung - Yumthang Valley Excursion & Transfer to Gangtok
After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Yumthang Valley which is also known as the Valley of Flowers (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). On the way back, we will visit the hot spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Later return back to hotel & leave for Gangtok. An overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Transfer to Darjeeling

Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Optional: You can opt to travel to Darjeeling via Namchi / Ravangla at an additional cost.

Early morning at 4:00 AM depart for a guided drive to the Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token from the respective authority) . After breakfast check out the popular Ghoom Monastery as well as Batasia Loop. Later visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Himalayan Zoo, Japanese Temple, Rock Garden, Gangamaiya Park as well as the Tibetan Handicraft Center, en route you will have an amazing view of the Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Those who are interested to visit the botanical garden can go on their very own. Back to the hotel, night free to walk around the area. Dinner and night stay at Darjeeling hotel.
