Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa

Benaulim, South Goa

  • Honeymoon
  • Beachfront
  • Private Pool
  • Family

Taj Exotica sits on a low-rise, 56-acre spread behind the dunes of Benaulim, one of South Goa's calmer beach villages, roughly 45 minutes from the airport. The architecture leans Mediterranean and Moorish rather than colonial Portuguese — white domes, courtyards, a lot of stone — and the resort keeps a relatively low room count for its size, so common areas rarely feel crowded even in peak season (December–February). Ground-floor villa rooms open onto private gardens, some with plunge pools, and the Jiva spa runs across two dozen treatment rooms set apart from the main block. It's close enough to Colva and Benaulim's beach shacks for an evening out, far enough to feel self-contained by day. Good for a first Goa trip built around a single base, for honeymooners, and for families who want a proper kids' club; less suited to travelers who want to move between beaches and villages every day.
