4N | 5D - The Blissful Couples' Retreat to Gangtok & Darjeeling

As you begin with your majestic journey, you will first arrive at NJP or Bagdogra Airport where you will encounter the astounding allurement of the heavenly land of Sikkim. Arrive at Gangtok and check in to your rooms. Moreover, if you are too excited to embrace the cultured city, you can wander in the streets of MG Marg and observe the local lifestyle. At night, enjoy your piping hot supper and relax in your snug bedding.

Wake up all fresh because it is the last day to create an adventurous experience. To enjoy the place eventfully, you need to be ready early in the morning, say 8 am, as you will visit two of the most beautiful and illustrious sites of Gangtok. The marvelous Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Mandir are located at 12,400 feet above sea levels. Note: Visit to Nathu La Pass is subject to availability.

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for half day city tour visiting Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology(closed on Sundays), Cottage Industry(closed on Sundays), and Flower Show Complex. Later proceed on your journey towards Darjeeling - The Queen of Hills. Check in to your hotel.

Wake up early on this day and gear up for something even feistier before your breakfast. You will be taken up the majestic Tiger Hill to witness a charismatic spectacle - sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Watch the breathtaking view of sunrise over the great Himalayan range that turns to a pinkish-gold colour. Then en-route to your hotel, you will get to visit the 135-year old Ghoom Monastery or Yiga Choeling, Batasia Loop and the famous War Memorial dedicated to the martyred soldiers of Indian defence services. Return to the hotel and savour a wholesome breakfast, before you relax for a while. Then go on to visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Padmaja Naidu Zoological Garden (closed on Thursdays), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays) and Mall Road. You can shop for colourful goods and souvenirs at Mall Road and be a part of the bustling market of Darjeeling. Finally, return to the hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner and stay overnight.

It is the day when you will head back to your regular place. Have good food, pack your bags, and take care of your stuff while you travel towards NJP/IXB. On the way back, recollect all the memories of the considerable range of climate and altitudes and great calmness of the North-East.
