What sets Clermont apart from the houseboat rows along the Boulevard is where it's moored: on Dal Lake's western shore next to Naseem Bagh, a Mughal garden said to date to Akbar's reign, with centuries-old chinars right along the water and none of the boat-to-boat crowding of the main jetty stretch. It trades convenience for quiet — you're not steps from Boulevard restaurants — in exchange for open lake views toward the snow line.
