Mechuka sits close to the Line of Actual Control at around 6,000 ft in the Siyom valley, a genuinely remote posting reached via Along (Aalo) rather than any direct route from Guwahati — figure on two days of driving either way, with an Inner Line Permit checked at multiple points along the road. Camp Dzang is a recently launched glamping property and, unusually for this altitude, has a swimming pool alongside its tented accommodation. Tents come in two configurations — a two-bed layout and a smaller twin/double — each heated, with proper showers and outdoor sit-outs for the evening barbecue the camp runs for guests. A small bar and garden round it out. It's a step up from Mechuka's homestays in comfort, though still a tented camp rather than a hotel, so don't expect five-star finishes — expect a genuinely scenic, still slightly rough-around-the-edges stay in one of Arunachal's most isolated valleys.
