Evolve Back sits on fifteen acres at Beerambally, on the banks of the Kabini River right at the edge of Nagarhole National Park, with Bandipur Tiger Reserve just across the water. The design borrows from Hadi, the traditional villages of the local Kadu Kuruba community, worked into three categories — Safari Hut, Pool Hut and the top-tier Pool Reserve — every one of them with a private pool. Safaris run twice daily, dawn and late afternoon, in government-run jeeps with naturalist guides, plus coracle boat rides and birdwatching along the river; the backwater draws elephant herds especially as the dry season tightens water sources between March and May. This is a serious wildlife booking rather than a scenic add-on to a Coorg itinerary — plan at least two nights to get two safaris in each direction. Like most Nagarhole-side lodges it closes briefly through the monsoon; October to May is the working safari season.
