Twenty-four split-level Konkan Villas, built to echo the coastal Kannada homesteads of the region, share the same design: a lower study and lounge, an upper bedroom with a semi-open bathroom, and a covered deck used for yoga or meditation. The daily structure leans on yoga, pranayama and meditation sessions, with longer Ayurveda and naturopathy programmes for guests staying a week or more, and the kitchen avoids refined sugar and maida rather than running a conventional restaurant menu. Om Beach itself, a short walk down, is one of Gokarna's calmer coves, quieter than the main town beach. This suits someone booking a genuine wellness stint, not a couple after nightlife or watersports. October to March is dry and comfortable; April onward turns hot and humid before the June monsoon.
