Mt. Narsing sits three kilometres from Rabong at about 1,950m on the Gangtok–Pelling highway, split across two distinct sections: a small main-resort block right on the road with a handful of Standard and Deluxe rooms, and a quieter Annexe a kilometre further in, where eight Super Deluxe rooms and two Hillside Cottages look out over the Rangit valley toward snow peaks and scattered monasteries. The kitchen runs on farm-to-table principles with organic, locally grown ingredients, and the programme leans toward yoga sessions, guided hikes and birdwatching rather than spa infrastructure, though basic spa treatments are on offer. An indoor fireplace anchors the lobby-dining hall for cold evenings, and there's an outdoor swimming pool, more than most resorts this high usually offer. Ravangla is roughly 5.5–6.5 hours from Bagdogra or NJP via Melli and Jorethang, with an Inner Line Permit required for Indian visitors. Suits travellers who want the quieter Annexe rooms and an active, outdoors-focused stay; the main-resort rooms on the highway are a fallback, not the reason to book.
